We will elevate our clients' experience by integrating a Building Designer into our team to enhance the holistic journey of our projects.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years
Requirements:
Passion for Architecture and Interior Design
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup. Revit will also be considered.
Background in drafting and designing for both residential and commercial projects.
Thorough understanding of CDC (Complying Development Certificate), DA (Development Application), and CC (Construction Certificate) documentation procedures.
Sound understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards
BASIX experience
Preparation of accurate and comprehensive technical documentation for construction projects, ensuring adherence to building codes, regulations, and standards
Creation of interior and exterior 3D models and renderings to facilitate visualisation of design concepts and effective communication of ideas.
Basic familiarity with Adobe and Microsoft Suite (proficiency will be viewed favourably)
Strong emphasis on customer-centric design approach
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
Confidence in addressing field-related inquiries.
Responsibilities:
Space planning, drafting, and designing plans for residential and commercial projects/ hospitality
Generating designs based on client briefs and preferences
Developing detailed construction documents
Navigating through CDC, DA, and CC documentation and approval processes
Displaying proactive and positive work ethic
Resolving issues and addressing inquiries confidently and proficiently
Working within specified deadlines
Job Type: 4 days a week on a 3-month contract with potential for extension
Flexible workplace with a WFH option for a percentage of weekly work
Own car beneficial, but not essential.
